They came, they fished, they conquered
Five club members braved high winds and March cold on Oklahoma's Grand Lake of the Cherokees to land some of the biggest and strangest fish of their lives: giant paddlefish. The take over three days was 15 fish averaging about 40 pounds, and they've got the pictures to prove it. On the March 1-7 trip were Shirley Smilley, Dottie Bechtel, Jim Clune, Tom Miller and Norm Engelbrecht, who dreamed up the whole thing.
