Familiar faces dominate 2008 Club Tourney
Alan Anderson, second-place finisher at last year's club tournament, took top prize at the 2008 tournament at Flatiron Reservoir with a four-fish string totaling 54 inches. He also captured the prize for smallest fish of the day, an 8 1/2 incher.
Norm Engelbrecht finished second with a 53 1/2 inch string at the four-hour event, which drew a record 38 anglers. Last year's winner Jim Kucero was third with a total of 49 1/4 inches while Shirley Smilley hauled in a 17 1/2 inch rainbow to capture the prize for biggest single fish. Frank Zupanc organized the highly successful event. Photo information: Alan hoists the trophy that goes to the winner until next year's tournament. From the left are Shirley, Jim, Alan and Norm.
